Subject: SJAM Tree Removals

Please be advised that the NCC has granted permissions for the tree removals on the SJAM Parkway. Throughout their review process with KEV they re-inventoried the trees in that area to ensure that all trees removed are required for the construction of the project.

KEV has indicated that they will begin their removals tomorrow, January 28th at the various locations identified in the images below. They anticipate that these works will be completed mid-February, please note that this schedule is weather dependant. Access and mobility to and on pathways will be maintained throughout the removals, should you hear of any accessibility issues please do not hesitate in contacting me directly.

Should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate in contacting me directly.

Thank you

[ UPDATE: “Please note that KEV was able to confirm that in the image ’15 – SJAM Phase 2 (1 of 4), below, the only trees that will be removed are identified in the purple hatched circles with the orange transparent fill. All other trees will be SAVED. The trees that are identified for removals will be to allow for the further realignment of the SJAM Parkway which will allow for tunnel construction to begin.”]
