A message from the Westboro Residents Committee

Only a few DAYS TO GO before the our long awaited LPAT HEARING that could change our present way of life in our community.

The Westboro Residents Committee URGENTLY needs YOU to attend this HEARING on THURSDAY FEBRUARY 27, 2020.
Your attendance will definitely have an impact and will show the Ontario appointed Adjudicator that the City of Ottawa should not have changed the Bylaw to turn a dead-end Residential Street into a Main Street by not listening to YOU and our elected City Councillor Jeff Leiper.
The City of Ottawa should not have approved this oversized development; 5 inner City Councillors voted NO and 18 Councillors from the suburbs voted YES.

This particular development is important because it would set a zoning precedent of transferring a ‘Traditional Mainstreet’ zoning from a major road (Richmond) to an adjacent residential side street.

The LPAT Hearing is set for

City Hall
Council Chambers
